Which is a much better game hands down, though too damn expensive for me. The problem for the public doesn't just end there though. The fact that EA is so rich and popular among the masses, where their games tend to be shit in almost every genre should tell us something about the gaming community at large, namely that taste has been lost.

EA's made huge strides in their quality as a publisher lately. All they really develop is sports games, the real stuff comes from the studios they own and/or publish for like Bioware, 2k, Harmonix (Rock Band), etc. Where they were responsible for killing developers like Bullfrog and Westwood, they've backed off from the upper management nonsense. Total 180.

I'm more concerned about the merged Activison / Blizzard. Activision is responsible for the millions of Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero spin-offs.

Its good to hear that EA isn't forcing their subsidiary companies to do their bidding and make crappy games any more. Now by merged do you mean Blizzard was bought out, or is management being divided between the two companies?
